A Pub with a Footy Club. Short but proud history. Support any other pub team at your peril.
 

Specifics are rather hazy at best regarding the inception of the Tote Hotel's Football Club, somewhere back in the 90's we are led to believe. One detail though will always remain; those who pulled on a Tote jumper over the years have done so with great pride, little to no fitness and most likely still half cut from the previous night.

As soon as the first frost settles the Toter's slowly emerge from an intensive summer preseason of BBQ's, beers, backyard cricket and battle plans pondered over by the front bar.

Donning the traditional Collingwood black and white prison bars as our strip, the Toter's embody the true social history of the fine suburb.

The spiritual home ground Victoria Park is host to training (Daicos snaps from the pocket) most Sundays during the footy season from the Saturday night conscious hour of 2 pm.

As a foundation club of the Renegade Pub Football League the Toter's, just like our slightly more wealthy big brothers the Magpies, are involved in every marquee match. Like our big brothers we are universally hated by fellow clubs and supporters out of pure jealousy and spite.

The Toter's take all comers, with up to 7 or 8 outings per year including preseason, league and grudge matches. Everyone of these encounters are played in true spirit of social pub football. Finals aren't required as bragging rights by the bar will only cost you a tinny for your opponent.

A Renegade Football League round is quite the Sunday outing; 3 games in one afternoon. Cheap booze, dogs, dj's and plenty of attempts at game changing look away handballs, sky scraping screamers, blind turning shadows and set shot torpedoes.

The Toter's are currently building a vibrant social club, organising year round events that focus on the jumper and revolve around the pub. Count within our ranks some of the best performers coming out of the sticky carpet band room. You never know who will perform at the next club fundraiser.
